Bryan Beatty, age 85, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 13, 2025) at his home.

He was born on April 15, 1939 in Springlick, KY, the son of the late Elza and Ida Dimple Payton Beatty.

He was a machinist for over 30 years who enjoyed horses, working with cattle, spending time outdoors, bush-hogging and buying and selling properties. He was a member of the God's Mission Full Gospel Church and Millwright's Local 1080 out of Owensboro.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Renorma Preston Beatty; three sons, Aubrey Beatty (Teresa) of Shrewsbury, Gerald Beatty (Shirley) & Mike Beatty (Wanda) both of Caneyville; five grandchildren, Kindra Heaton (Rob), Christopher Beatty (Jordan), Shanda Meredith (Jon), Shane Beatty (Jessica) & Seth Beatty (Darien); five great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Beatty; two sisters, Florence Oller & Betty Williams; and infant brothers Phillip & Anderson Beatty.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (April 22, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Gary Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
