Calvin Scott, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 31, 2023) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on May 3, 1941 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Shelton and Ruby West Scott.

Calvin was a Vietnam Veteran and a mechanic who enjoyed fixing old cars and mowers. Calvin was a very special man to the Hack family.

He is survived by his grandson, Scotty Hack (Tobi) of Leitchfield; two brothers, Carroll Scott (Ruby) and Kenny Scott both of Leitchfield; sister, Mildred Scott Frank (Ronald) of Leitchfield; and a dear friend, Nora Hack of Leitchfield. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Scott Frank and Nell Scott; three brothers, Bobby, Wilbur, and Charles Scott.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, (November 9, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairveiw Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
