Obituary
Carl W. Mudd, age 62, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Thursday, (June 11, 2009) at his home.
He was born on April 3, 1947, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of S. V. and Lavanna Hack Mudd. He was a farmer and a member of the Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Mary Higdon Mudd, his son, Jeff Parker (B.J.) his mother, Lavanna Scott, three sisters, Jenny Humphress and Sharon Hovious all of Campbellsville, KY, Wilma Reeves of Louisville, one granddaughter and two grandsons as well as several nieces and nephews. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Ann Mudd and Etta Jane Mason.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (June 13, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Graylin Hayes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
