Carlos Newton, age 72, of Hudson, KY, passed away Friday, (February 28, 2025) at his home in Hudson, KY.

He was born on May 16, 1952 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Alice Saltsman Newton.

He was a truck driver who enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.

He is survived by three sons, Craig Burden of Hudson, Jason Newton of Union County, KY, John Newton of Hudson; a daughter, Kimberly Cobler also of Hudson; three grandchildren, Alex Cobler, Mason Newton & Shelby Sims; and a sister, Barbara Woolen of Olaton, KY. Two nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Newton.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (March 08, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Jason Newton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Madrid Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
