Carlton Ferguson, age 79 of Horse Branch, KY, passed away Friday, (July 16, 2021) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on October 12, 1941 in Ohio County, KY, the son of the late Ernest and Mamie Coy Ferguson.

He was a carpenter, who enjoyed gardening, meeting new people, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Woodrum Ferguson, of Horse Branch; two daughters, Barbara Craddock (Michael) of Beaver Dam, and Julie Curry (Travis Case) of Hartford, KY; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jackson, Braxton, Clair, Paisley, Makayla, and Ivory; one brother, Carlis Ferguson (Carol) of Horse Branch, KY; and a sister, Charleene Sexton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Smith.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 20, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Glennie Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
