Carmon A. Pharis, age 91 of Louisville, KY, formally of Welchs Creek passed away Saturday (August 08, 2009) in Louisville , KY.
He was born on March 04, 1918, in Butler Co., KY, the son of Oda & Elberta Taylor Pharis.
He was a retired farmer & Electrician.
He is survived by his wife Reva Byers Pharis of Louisville, 1 daughter Beronica Johnson of Arizona, 2 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Carl Pharis of Welchs Creek, Uda Pharis of Leitchfield, 3 sisters Emogene Byers of Shepherdsville, Virginia Finley of Welchs Creek, & Ruthie Ingram of Louisville. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Linda Sue.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M Tuesday (August 11, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Dale Barnes will be officiating. Burial in the Embry Cemetery in Butler Co.
Friends may call at the Schoppenhorst-Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Hwy Shepherdsville, Ky. 4:00-8:00 P.M. EDT Monday and at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
