Obituary
Carol Sue Harp, age 67, of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, (December 19, 2015) in Leitchfield.
She was born on August 20, 1948 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Geneva Hill Higdon.
She was a housewife who enjoyed being with her family, loved taking care of her grandchildren, and sitting on her back porch relaxing and watching her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Harp of Leitchfield; sons, Hershel Harp of Leitchfield, and Wayne Harp of Sweeden; daughters, Tonya Sanders and Angela Cherry both of Sweeden; five sisters, Lynn Carroll, Rhonda Williams, Darlene Kerr, Christy Anderson, and Ellen Schrader; one brother, Donnie Higdon; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Wayne, Gary, and Bruce Higdon, and nephew, Jeffrey Anderson.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, (December 22, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sweeden Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
