Obituary
Carol Nell Sanders, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 10, 2018) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 14, 1937 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Mark Twain and Eunice Carter Milam.
She was a corporate administrator who enjoyed golfing and playing bridge, and was a member of the Short Creek United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lila Kleis (Edward) of Louisville, KY; two grandsons, Kevin Kleis (Tracy) and Justin Kleis (Christy); three great grandchildren, Taylor, Maddie and Beau Kleis; a sister, Margaret Campbell (Jerry) of Tuscola, IL; a brother Mark C. Milam of Leitchfield. Betty Milam and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Sanders Jr.; three brothers, Bruce, Robert and Richard Milam; and one sister, Lois Milam Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST Thursday, (March 15, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Richard Humston will be officiating. Burial will be in the Vincent Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
