Carolyn Lavonne Willis McStoots, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (November 7, 2023) at her home.

She was born on August 5, 1940 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Jesse Van and Blanche Newton Willis.

She was a housewife who enjoyed flowers, cleaning and spending time with her grandbabies. She was a member of the New Freedom Church.

She is survived by her spouse, Robert "Jr." McStoots of Leitchfield; two sons, Wayne McStoots (Betty) and Robert W. McStoots both of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, David, Amy, Kristie and Daniel; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren;  three brothers, Layman Willis (Mildred) of Sadler, KY, Darrell Willis of Brownsville, KY and Frank Willis (Dorothy) of Godly, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlan and Randall Willis; and three sisters, Mary Hayes, Alice Carnes and Erma Decker.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (November 14, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mickey Coates will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
