Catherine Ann Johnson, age 56, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (January 7, 2013) at her home.
She was born on May 16, 1956 in Fort Hood, TX, the daughter of the late Elmer and Cleora Mae Waller Nelson.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed crocheting, TV soaps, needlepoint and playing with her grandkids. She was a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Johnson, two sons, James R. Edgar and his wife, Elizabeth, of Elizabethtown KY, and William Joseph Johnson and his wife, Brittany, of Leitchfield, one daughter, Jessica Lynn Brock and her husband, Joseph William II, of Big Clifty, KY three grandchildren, Cody William and Eli Colton Brock and Braiden Joseph Johnson, two brothers, Larry Nelson and his wife, Pam, of Elizabethtown, and Douglas Nelson and his wife Leslie of Fisher, IN, one sister, Patricia Wilson and her husband, Glen of Caneyville, KY.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (January 10, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Doug King will be officiating with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
