Mrs. Catherine “Kitty” Nann (Jones) Beauchamp, 92, of Short Creek, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Beauchamp was born October 3, 1933, the daughter of Clifton Ruddell and Mary Frances (Bayer) Jones.

In addition to being a homemaker Catherine assisted her husband, Roy Thomas Beauchamp, with their business as an auctioneer, a trader, a flea marketer, and a small farmer.

Catherine loved to find a good bargain, read, cook, spend time with friends and family, and the great outdoors. She enjoyed being an amateur photographer and shared this love with her children.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Ann Beauchamp; daughter-in-law, Caroline Beauchamp; 2 grandsons, Kyle (Tara) Beauchamp and Greg (Becca) Beauchamp; 2 great grandchildren, Alyssa and Will; sister-in-law, Linda Jolly Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Donald Gene Beauchamp; brothers, Frank Joseph Jones and Clifton Ruddell Jones, Jr; and sisters-in-law(s), Ressie Beauchamp Simmons, Barbara Jean Beauchamp, and Anna Catherine Robbins Jones.

Dermitt Funeral Home, in Leitchfield, will assist with cremation with the family holding private ceremonies due limited ability to travel from numerous states.
