Obituary
Cecil Andrew Baxter, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 31, 2013) at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on July 5, 1942, in Mercer County, KY, the son of the late Biven Lee and Juanita Long Baxter.
He was an electrician, horse trader, trap shooter, hunter, and fisherman. He was a member of the Hilltop Fellowship Church in McDaniels, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Day Baxter, one son, Danny Wayne and his wife, Christy, all of Leitchfield; three sisters, Sally Jo Underwood of North Carolina, Donna Gail Robinson and Mary Ellen Tarrance, both of Leitchfield; four brothers, Thomas Reed Baxter of Caneyville, Gary Baxter of Ohio, William Lee and James Reed Baxter, both of Leitchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (February 3, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Harry Hertel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
