Celeste Crowder, age 101, of Horse Branch, KY, passed away Tuesday (September 14, 2010) at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. Center at Beaver Dam, KY.

She was born on June 2, 1909 the daughter of Wiley and Lula Ann (Evans) Daugherty. She was a Child Care Provider for a Children's Home, a member of Mount Olive General Baptist Church, and a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by two sons, William Evyn and Conrad Marladen Crowder, three daughters, Judy Lee Crowder, Merrily Annette Baber and Ellabelle Jean Anderson, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Everett Crowder, one daughter Beulah Maxine Worth, and one son Clement Crowder.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday (September,18 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Grayling Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, and from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time on Saturday.
