Charles E. Bush, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 23, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on June 5, 1938, in Sunfish, KY, the son of the late Kit and Glenda Sanders Bush. He was a retired storage supervisor and was a member of the St John's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Childress Bush, two sons, Charles Allen Bush of Leitchfield and Richard Wayne Bush of Land of Lakes, FL, one daughter, Renee Westfall of Ashland, KY, four step-children, Wilbur Eugene and Scotty Frank both of Leitchfield, Billy Joe and James Frank both of Fairdale, KY, one brother, Eddie Ray Bush of Louisville, KY, three sisters, Mae Ryan and Gaynell Stith both of Shepherdsville, KY, and Faye Copley of Louisville, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and step grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Kevin Meredith.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (October 27, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ed Cockriel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunfish Cemetery. There will be a prayer service on Tuesday night at the Dermitt Funeral Home

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
