Obituary
Charles Richard Clemons, age 59, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (August 8, 2011) at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on October 28, 1951, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Charlie and Irene Tilford Clemons. He was a machinist for CSX Railroad, a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge # 236 F &AM and the Grayson County Sportsman's Club.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Dermitt Clemons, two daughters, Jill Clemons and Melanie Clemons both of Leitchfield, two brothers, Michael and Freddie Clemons both of Leitchfield, two sisters, Shirley Moore of Leitchfield and Laverne Hatfield of Clarkson, KY. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Clemons.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (August 13, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Howard Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery. Masonic services will be Friday night.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
