Obituary
Charles Edward Elmore, age 68, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (May18, 2016) in Leitchfield.
He was born on March 7, 1948 in Lee, KY, the son of the late Amos and Mae Embry Elmore.
He was a mechanical engineer, who enjoyed duck and geese hunting, and fishing. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Bratcher Elmore of Clarkson; two sons, Charlie and his wife, Robin, of Leitchfield, and Todd of Mayfield, KY; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Seth, Maddie, and Sophia Elmore, and Paige, Sloane, and Evan Embry; and his niece, Brooke Hayes.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Smith.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (May 21, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Richard L. Major, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, until time of services.
