Obituary
Charles Everett Weedman, age 67, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (September 27, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on October 10, 1943, in Jefferson County, KY, the son of the late Edward and Mary Whobrey Weedman. He was a farmer and was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carlene King Weedman of Caneyville; one son, Charles Weedman, Jr. of Caneyville; two daughters, Cassie Dennison (Thomas) of Caneyville, and Amanda Higgs (Marion) of Millwood; five sisters, Louise Lindsey of Leitchfield, Jeanette McClellan of Vine Grove, Jesse Mudd of Elizabethtown, Mary Alice Lindsey of Louisville, and Doris Kay Duggins of Indiana: four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Jean Howard, and one brother Ray Edward Weedman.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday (September 30, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
