Charles Kenneth Grey Jr., age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (February 26, 2019) at Norton's Hosparus Inpatient Care Unit in Louisville, KY.

He was born on December 22, 1933 in Orange County, NY, the son of the late Charles Kenneth and Caroline Elsie Hurd Grey.

He was a carpet installer who worked for Hudson & Rug Co. and Sadler & Worth Carpet Outlet in New York. A handyman and former Elks Lodge Member, he enjoyed playing pinochle and working on lawn mowers.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan Deyo of Leitchfield; two sons, Kevin Haynes of Brownsville, KY and Bill Grey (Dawn) of Leitchfield; 13 grandchildren; Eric & Keith Forseth, John and Jessica Papovics, David Deyo, Misty Benham (CJ) and Krishna, Amber and Tiah Brown; Paul Grey, Billy Grey Jr. Michael and Matthew Grey; nine great-grandchildren; Giovanni and Kyle Papovics; Dreidyn, Donavyn, Dezmiyn Brown, Tasia and Raelee Brown, Gianna and Arianna Grey and two close cousins, Betty Scott and Catherine Horton of Newburg, NY.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Lozier Grey and Jeanne Wiley Grey; a daughter, Mary Ellen Haynes; an infant daughter; and a daughter-in-law, Janet Haynes.

Cremation was chosen, and a service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, NY at a later date.
