Charles H. "Chuck" Spalding Jr., age 55, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (November 15, 2018) as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born on November 24, 1962 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Charles Spalding Sr. and Shirley Wilkins Philpott.

He enjoyed fishing, boating, horses and horse racing.

He is survived by his sister, Pamela Gayle Kamer (Mark) of Louisville, KY; a brother, Louis Spalding of Louisville, KY; a niece, Hannah Kamer (Adam); four nephews, Jonathan Kamer (Jordan), Jesse Kamer (April), Josiah Kamer and Dustin Spalding; two great-nieces, Kaylee and Nora and two great-nephews, Landon and Liam. A step-father, Ray Philpott, of Leitchfield also survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (November 21, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
