Charles William "Jiggs" Nash, age 75, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 28, 2011) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born on September 6, 1936, in Grayson Co., Kentucky, the son of Albert and Stella Farris Nash. He was a retired painter at Fort Knox, and helped his son and grandson run the family business, Nashcar.
He is survived by his wife, Ruie E. Nash of Leitchfield; two daughters, Debbie Sims of Tennessee, and Nancy Allen of Leitchfield; one son, Charlie Nash of Leitchfield; two sisters, Velma Blair of Indiana, and Nellie Woodcock of Bowling Green; one brother, Junior Nash of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Natoma, a son, William, his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (December 31, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
