Obituary
Charles M. Joyce, age 80 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (December 29, 2014) at his residence.
He was born on April 27, 1934 in Upton, KY, the son of the late Leslie and Dorothy Priddy Joyce.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a farmer, who enjoyed dancing, Bowling, and playing cards and attended the Stones View Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ilah Hibbs Joyce, a daughter, Brenda Smith (Curtis) of Leitchfield, a son, Joseph Joyce of Atlanta, GA, two step-sons, Kevin Deibel of North Carolina, and Kenton Deibel of Elizabethtown, KY, a brother, W. D. Joyce of Clarkson, a sister, Pat Schools of Purcellville VA, four grandchildren, Diana, Jimmy, Matt and Candiance, five step grandchildren, Stacy, Chris, Michael, Caleb, and Trevor, and twelve great grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael, a stepson, Mark Deibel and a step-brother, Ronnie Hornback.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (January 2, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Compton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to Alzheimer's Association.
