Charles Randall Lee “Randy”, 74, Of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. He was born on May I l, 1952, in Short Creek, KY, to the late Elmer and Annie Corinne Burden Lee.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Annie Corinne Burden Lee; and his brothers, Billy G. Lee and Phillip William Lee.

He is survived by his brother, Charles "Rabbit" Lee (Brenda); his children, Stacey Jett, Randall Lee, and Jonathon Lee (Stacey); his grandchildren, Jason Lee, Katelyn Mahurin (Logan), Kelsie Poteet (Jacob), Bailey Lee (Trey Decker), and Gracie Lee; and his many great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

Charles was a hardworking man who spent many years as a skilled woodworker and finish carpenter, as well as working in construction. He took pride in working with his hands and creating things that would last. Charles found his faith and was saved at Leitchfield Methodist Church, where he once attended. He is now resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior. He was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He was also a passionate fisherman, a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan, and loved spending time outdoors. Those who knew him will remember his love of fishing, the outdoors, working with his hands, cheering on his Wildcats, and most of all, his family. He leaves behind a family who will miss him deeply and cherish the memories, stories, and love he gave them. Though he is no longer here with us, his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (August 19, 2026) beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Jay Kiper will be officiating. He will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery on Highway 79 in Caneyville.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, and continue until time of service.
