Charles Spurlock, age 92, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (February 12, 2019) at his residence.

He was born on July 4, 1926 in Bell County, KY, the son of the late Thomas and Rachael Baker.

He was a retired factory worker from the Ford Motor Company who enjoyed hunting and was a member of the UAW and attended the Mercy Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, James Spurlock and John Spurlock both from Michigan; daughters, Carol Decker from Caneyville, KY, Barbara Hubbard from Michigan, and Jackie Raynes from Jellico, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Lee Spurlock.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
