Charles Edward Steff, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (June 08, 2021) at his home.

He was born on May 07, 1942 in Spring Lick, KY, the son of the late Rodney and Floy Embry Steff.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 181. He had a passion for drag racing and enjoyed working on cars. He was a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his daughters, Natalie Steff (Nick) of Leitchfield, Heather Steff (Jared) of Bowling Green, KY; two grandchildren, Audrey Ramsey and Ezra Martin; two sisters, Donna King (Ralph) of Caneyville, KY and Diane Singer (Ron) of Louisville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sue Phelps Steff and a brother, Philip Steff.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (June 13, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
