Charles Allen Volz, age 76, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Sunday, (September 19, 2021) at the Hartford House in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on August 28, 1945 in Dubois County, Indiana, the son of the late William Herbert Franklin and Ruth Mae Robertson Volz.

He was an Ingot Operator at Alcoa Corporation who enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, and riding around on his Gator. He attended the Macedonia Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nelda Willis Volz of Falls of Rough, and two brothers, Harvey Volz of Georgia and Bill Lindsey of Booneville, IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Tom & Donald Herman Volz; and a sister, Helen Louise Volz.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (September 29, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Macedonia Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
