Chase Ryan Taylor

Chase Ryan Taylor, age 30, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (October 30, 2026) at his residence.

He was born on February 09, 1996, in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Andrew Taylor and JoAnn Bratcher.

He worked as a dispatcher for Breckinridge County, KY E911. He volunteered at the animal shelter, taking great care of all the animals. Spending time with his family was a favorite past time for him because he loved them all very much. He enjoyed playing cards, video games and writing songs. He was a very selfless person with a big heart. He was a very good friend to have on your side. He was also a prankster and loved to tease his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his children, Abbigail, Aleaha Lynn, Veronica, and Rose; parents, Andrew Taylor (Chasity), and JoAnn Bratcher (Brian); siblings, Schyler Geary (Anthony), Peighton Runsvold, Ryan Cole Taylor, and Aubrie Grace Taylor; his grandparents, Alicia Hazelwood, Bethel Hazelwood, Jerry Taylor, Joe and Gail Bratcher, and Freddy Casey; aunts and uncles, Tiffanie Hazelwood, Billy Taylor, Justin Taylor, Tammy Nash, Niki Carroll, and Heath Bratcher; one nephew, Jackson Geary; and his girlfriend, Savannah Roof.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Doris Bratcher and Karen Taylor; stepmother, Apyrl Taylor and Steven Puckett.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, (November 4, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Andrew Taylor will be officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
