Cheryl Lynn McClurg, age 53, of Fordsville, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 03, 2024) at Continue Care Hospital in Fordsville, KY.

She was born on February 17, 1971 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Gerald Wayne and Shirley Mathis McClurg.

She worked in food service and enjoyed eating Chinese food, going to movies, yard sales, and flea markets, listening to music, and spending time with family. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Tabby Lenick Newton (Gavin) and Shelby Hayes, both of Leitchfield; a grandchild, Olivia Faith Lenick; a sister, Shelia Stevenson, also of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Oakland Ann Newton.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (November 07, 2024) at the Scott Cemetery on Bloomington Rd.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. Thursday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with Final Expenses.
