Cheryle Lynne Dye, age 67, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Monday, (January 15, 2024) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on May 22, 1956 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late James and Catherine Waltrip Hicks.

She was a housewife and a homemaker who enjoyed working outside, tending to her garden and spending time with her dogs. She attended the WJCR World Changers Church and was very involved in charity work with the organization and beyond.

She is survived by her daughters, Rayna Falls (Jimmy) of Franklin, KY & Cristy Warf (Shannon) of Leitchfield, KY; five grandchildren, Neal, Evan & Bristol Falls and Raiden & Xander Warf; three brothers, Ricky Hicks, Jimmy Hicks (Doris) & Wesley Hicks (Earlene); three sisters, Pat Basham, Trina Kiser, & Jeanne Leffler (Bobby) and a caregiver, Raymond Ferrell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce Dye; a grandson, Ethan Falls; three sisters, Marilyn Wright, Carolyn Hicks, & Rhonda Hicks; and a brother, Charlie Hicks.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
