Christine Aldridge, age 70, of Louisville, KY, passed away Thursday, (August 2, 2018) at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on August 29, 1947 in Breckinridge County, KY, the daughter of the late David and Mary Elliott Mattingly.

She was a waitress who enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, UK basketball and loved to watch tennis and golf.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Todd Brown of Louisville; siblings, Geneva Bowry (Earl) of Hopkinsville, Roger Mattingly of Leitchfield, and Linda Blanton (Dwayne) of Cecilia; special niece, Kristy Parsons of Buffalo, KY; brother-in-law, Bob Cummings of Rineyville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Brown, Jr., husband, Ernest C. Brown; three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (August 6, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
