Obituary
Clara Elizabeth McCord, age 87, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 14, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on April 7, 1924, in Tell City, IN, the daughter of the late Eugene and Sudie Stevenson Lee. She was a former restaurant owner.
She is survived by one daughter, Elenor Smith of Fresno CA; grandson, and caregiver, William Eugene Hall, Jr. of Silver Springs, FL; two sisters, Lucille Newton (Lewis) of Leitchfield, and Lavon Odle (Harold) of Millwood; one brother, Elmer Lee of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (December 17, 2011) at 10:00a.m. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Chester Shartzer officiating. Burial will be in the Little Clifty Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 2:00p.m. on Friday, and after 9:00a.m. until service time on Saturday.
