Obituary
Clara Edna Scott, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 3, 2016) at her residence in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on July 2, 1933 in Hardin County, KY, the daughter of the late Jack and Josie Clater Grimes.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed quilting, sewing, and fishing. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, Randall Edlin and his wife, Linda (a special daughter to Clara), of Elizabethtown, Danny Payton of GA, Dean Quiggins of GA, and Jimmy Quiggins; daughters, Missy Loar of Louisville, KY, and Barbara Dials of Star Mills, KY; sisters, Gladys Cummins of Elizabethtown, KY and Dorothy Morehead of LA; brother, Robert Grimes of Star Mills, KY; several grandchildren including Jessica Hicks (Jordan), Jason and Tonya Maravilla; several great-grandchildren including Nova Hicks, Summer Grace and RJ Maravilla; one great-great-grandchild, and a special great-great-great-grandson, Dalton.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Scott, daughters, Kelly Lessor and Charlotte Culbreath, brother, Bill Grimes, and sister, Aline Grimes.
Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, (February 9, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Mason will be officiating. Cremation was chosen.
Visitation will at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services.
