Cleddie Alice Lindsey, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Sunday, (July 20, 2025) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on January 15, 1946 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Ples and Geneva Crain Sandlin.

She was a seamstress and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking meals, working jig saw puzzles and spending time with her dog, Tiny. Cleddie adored and worshipped her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Millwood Apostolic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Lindsey of Leitchfield, her children, Renee Smith (Glen) of Leitchfield, Alan Lindsey (Beth) of Munfordsville, Jeff Lindsey (Melissa Willis) of Texas & Christie Hadley of Clarkson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Lillie Mae Ausbon (Murrell), Roger Sandlin (Lillie), Ovie Sandlin (Diane), Wendell Sandlin & Kenny Sandlin (Mary). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters and her beloved dog, Angel.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (July 25, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Bill Wolfe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Decker Holiness Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
