Clifford McStoots, age 65 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 4, 2023) at his home.

He was born on July 8, 1957 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Clint and Ulva Whitaker McStoots.

He retired from IMI Concrete after working there for 22 years. He loved driving his concrete truck. He enjoyed farming, working with his cattle, hunting, working with his mules and four-wheeling. His companion on the farm was his dog, Roscoe, who sadly passed away. Saved at New Harmony Church, he attended The Little Church in Shrewsbury.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Decker of Clarkson; son, Jason McStoots (Jamie) of Leitchfield; step-daughter, Tammy Frogge Leonard (Lester) of Clarkson and their children and grandchildren;    grandchildren, Kevin (Kaelyn), Dalton, Taylor (David), Shyanne, Destany (Seth), Justin, Joseph (Brooke); great-grandchildren, Oakleigh, Charleigh, Temperance, Ganton, Olivia, Breckin and Tate; sisters, Dorothy Stevenson (Tedd), Irene Ray, Ora Clements, Doris Houchin (Mike) and Carolyn Croghan; and special friends, Everett and Sandy Skeeters. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou McStoots; brothers, Ronnie, Mack, Jimmy, and Clarence McStoots; sister, Willadean Sandlin; step-daughter, Lynda McStoots; and cousin, Earl McStoots.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (January 10, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
