Clyde Lewis Stikeleather, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (August 30, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on January 12, 1935, in Kingswood, KY, the son of Clyde Pennington and Naomi Roberts Stikeleather. He was an electrician, a former foreman for Warren Rural Electric, member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge, Grayson County Lions Club, the Grayson County Fair Board, a former high school referee and was a member and trustee of the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Jennifer Stikeleather of Leitchfield, one sister, Shirley Buster of Palm Harbor, FL and a special friend, Lavonne Stikeleather of Leitchfield. He was preceded in death by one brother, Omer.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (September 3, 2007) at the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church, under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Musial Pearson and Fred Whitmore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.
