Corine Farris, age 80, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday (June 2, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical in Leitchfield, KY.

She was a housewife and a member of the Cave Hill Church. She was born on March 18, 1927, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Roe and Lillie Evans Embry.

She is survived by two sons, Randall and his wife, Sandy of Leitchfield and Donald and his wife, Theressa Farris of Millwood, KY, two daughters, Rita Lindsey of Caneyville and Janice and her husband, Ricky McKinney of Leitchfield, eight grandchildren, Angie Escue, Jennifer Newton, Sara and Amanda McKinney, Crissy Farris, Jamie, Jermey, and Josh Lindsey and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Udell Farris and three sisters, Ruby Embry, Floy Steff and Dorothy Tarrence.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (June 4, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Rev. Donald Farris will be officiating. Burial is in the Small Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of service.
