Coy Louis Milliner, age 88, of Cecilia, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 9, 2026) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on November 9, 1937, in Mt. Hebron, KY, the son of the late Luther Thomas and Pearl Minton Milliner.

He was an auto mechanic for Auto Dealers previously working at P Loraillard Cigarette Factory and Kelly Vance Volkswagen. He enjoyed working on old cars, fixing them up, painting them, selling them, and keeping some for himself. He specialized in working on Volkswagen cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren and attended Hardin Springs Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula French (Loyd) of Cecilia, KY; two grandsons, Chase Blair (Rachael) of Thornton, CO, and Ryan Blair (Arcadia) of Cecilia, KY; great-grandchildren Jaemeason, Louella, and Benjamin Blair; his wife of 27 years, Jeanette Milliner of Cecilia, KY; and a special friend, Sue Douthitt. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ernest, Leslie, Herschel, Charles, and Franklin “Pete” Milliner; three sisters, Glennie Drane, Mabel Milliner, and Thelma Self; two nephews, Dale Self and Ronnie Milliner; and four nieces, Delores Phelps, Shirley Cook, Brenda Kuburz and Robin Elliots.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Thursday, (September 17, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Randall Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m.  CST Thursday until time of services.
