Crystal Russell Deweese, age 57, of Taylorsville, KY, passed away Sunday, (January 16, 2022) at her residence.

She was born on August 21, 1964 in Jefferson County, KY, the daughter of the late Luther Ross and Emma Rose Reed Russell.

She worked as a medical assistant. Crystal loved country living and farming. She was an animal lover and enjoyed making flowers and arrangements. She was an avid advocate for autism. She loved her Paparazzi jewelry and watching crime shows on television. When Christmas time rolled around she went all out. Her family was her life and the kids and grandbabies were her greatest joy. She had attended Unity Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her life partner, Christopher Dixon; her children, Chad Russell (Lindsey) of Versailles, Chase Stinnett (Elizabeth) of Bardstown and Heather Broker (Steven) of Mt. Washington; grandchildren, William Broker, Emery Russell, Trinity Stinnett, Matthew Broker, Logan Russell, Olivia Stinnett, Eli Stinnett, and Aiden McCormick; brother, Titus Russell (Sue); niece and nephew, Trisha (Cameron Young) and Noah Russell and great-nephew, Kenneth Ross Wells.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (January 25, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tim Dennis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wortham Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.

The family requests that those attending the visitation or funeral service please wear a mask while paying their respect.
