Crystal Gayle Willis, age 41, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 18, 2021) as the result of a car accident.

She was born on October 20, 1979 in Frankfort, KY, the daughter of the late Gary Reed Lindsey and Elizabeth Cripps Hodge.

She was a devoted social worker for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services who liked to cut up and carry on with her friends. She enjoyed cooking, walking, spending time outdoors and was a former member of the New Freedom Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory S. Willis, of Leitchfield; a son, Hunter Higdon, of Leitchfield; a daughter, Kailey Willis also of Leitchfield; a brother, Steven Lindsey (Crystal Lee) of Leitchfield, a sister, Kimberley Whobrey of Clarkson; a step-sister Karen Hodge and a step-brother, Greg Hodge, both of Leitchfield. A special aunt, Rose Lamb (Bob) of Shepherdsville, several close friends, nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Dwaine Hodge.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, (July 26, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mickey Coates will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
