Cuba Duggins, age 93, of Brownsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (May 23, 2018) in Brownsville.
She was born on November 28, 1924, in Pine Knob, KY, the daughter of the late Carl and Alvirda Miller Green.
She was a retired cook at the Short Creek School. Cuba enjoyed sewing, cooking, and attending to her flowers. She was a member of the Big Ready Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Sanders and husband, Jerry, of Brownsville; grand-daughter, Rebecca Bryant and husband, Andrew, of Caneyville; two step-grandchildren, Becky Ray and husband, Jason, and Billy Sanders and wife, Adrienne, all of Brownsville; two sisters, Imogene Demunbrum of Leitchfield, and Roxie Burden of Louisville; and six step-great-grandchildren, Morgan, Chloie, Emma, Taylor, Maddie, and Brooklyn.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Duggins and sisters, Ruby Burden and Lovorice Young.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (May 26, 2018) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Denver Young will be officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
