Cuba Jean Ramsey, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (November 3, 2020) at her home.

She was born on March 25, 1928 in Eddyville, KY, the daughter of the late Rob Roy and Margaret Bridges Wadlington.

She was a housewife and retired library tech who enjoyed quilting, cooking, and studying genealogy. She was a member of the Little Clifty Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Ramsey (Patty) of Chalybeate, KY, Glen Ray Ramsey (Sharon) of Clarkson, KY; daughter, Nancy Kiper (Otis) of Leitchfield; a son-in-law, Brock Brocato of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three nieces, Maryllis, Ruth and Vicki and her friend and caregiver Cassandra Jaggers.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Glen Ray Ramsey Sr.; her daughter, Glenda Brocato; a sister, Gwendolyn Cooper and a brother, Doug Wadlington.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (November 7, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

The interest of the health and safety of the families we serve, masks must be worn throughout the visitation and funeral service.
