Daniel Wayne Gordon, Jr, age 39, of McDaniels, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 27, 2020) at his home.

He was born on December 2, 1980, in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Daniel Wayne Sr. and Linda Holthouser Gordon.

He was a firefighter, and had served Zoneton, McDaniels, Cloverport, Stephensport and Fordsville Fire Departments. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his job. He was a member of the Liberation Church in Breckinridge County.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Duncan Gordon of McDaniels; stepchildren, Rebecca Burnette, Samuel and Andrew Whitely; special brother, Scott Duncan and special friend, Mark Duncan; special firefighter friend, Bradley Duncan; and a large extended family.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Gary Jones and Lawrence and Vivian Gordon and several uncles.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (July 2, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jacob McClure will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duncan Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until service time.
