Daniell G. Hayes, age 55, of Pleasant View, TN, passed away Friday, (June 19, 2026) at his home in Tennessee.
He was born on September 25, 1970 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Richard Wesley Hayes and his surviving mother, Juanita Fentress Hayes.
Daniell was a commercial HVAC sales manager. He enjoyed working on old cars, especially with his father. He was a Steelers, Alabama, and UT fan. He loved football and working out at the gym. He adored his children and grandchildren. He and his mother, Juanita, were very close and communicated every day. She still called him her baby, with loving affection. Daniell was a member of Penile Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Fentress Hayes; his children, Steven Hayes, Baleigh Watson (Brad), and Dagan Johnson; three grandchildren, Piper, Brody, and Forest; brother, Steven Hayes (Josette); three nephews, Richard, Jonathon, and Cameron; and one niece, Jesse.
Other than his father, Richard Wesley Hayes, he was preceded in death by his sister, Selesia Case.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (June 28, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Robert Bailey will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union (Welches Creek) Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday until time of service.
