Danny Ray Meredith, age 64, of Anneta, KY, passed away Sunday, (August 27, 2023) at his home.

He was born on October 20, 1958 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Carlos and Wanda Elmore Meredith.

He was a retired forklift operator for Baillie Lumber and formerly worked with his father in construction. An avid outdoorsman, Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wildlife and spending time in nature. He was a member of Jock United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Jeremy Meredith (Erica) of Eastview & Derek Meredith (Samantha) of Jacksonville, FL; two stepsons, Jeremy Coogle (Windy) of Park City, KY & James Coogle (Meleah) of Crandall, IN; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Cubbage (Edward) of Clarkson, KY; five brothers, Wayne Meredith (Becky) of Elizabethtown, KY, Roger Meredith (Cheri) of Mt. Washington, KY, Ronnie Meredith of Anneta, Donnie Meredith (Joan) of Leitchfield, & Terry Meredith (Mariah) of Anneta; Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Devon Duvall Meredith; and his second wife, Anna Burkhead Meredith.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (August 30, 2023) at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Blake Newton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch General Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
