Danny Lynn Owen Sr., age 71, of Louisville, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 25, 2025) in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on May 8, 1954 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Roy Daniel Owen Jr. and Daisy June Davenport Owen.

He was the proud owner and operator of Paint and More LLC. A man of many talents, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and scrapping. Above all, he loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kay Owen of Leitchfield; children, Tammy Lynn Hayes-Heady (Brandon) of Leitchfield, Danny Lynn Owen Jr. (Kristin) of Elizabeth, IN; Alexander Lee Duff of Leitchfield, and Christy Marie Owen (Jeffery Mitchell) of Louisville, KY; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Kay Barton (Jerry) of Louisville and Tracy Thompson (Steve) also of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m.  Saturday, (May 31, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Creekview Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of services.
