Danzel Carroll, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Monday, (November 13, 2006) at the Leitchfield Health Care Manor in Leitchfield.

She was born on November 24, 1922, in Lindseyville, KY, the daughter of Charles Edward and Edith Lindsey. She was a housewife and was a member of the Midway Missionary United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Alley of Leitchfield, KY, two sons, Jimmy and Larry Carroll both of Louisville, KY, one brother, Joe Ed Lindsey of Washington State, six grandchildren, Lorrie Williams, Timmy Logsdon, Keitha Rafferty, Jeff Carroll, Michelle Frisbie and Lisa Carroll, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Carroll and one sister, Hazel Skaggs.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (November 16, 2006) at the New Salem General Baptist Church in Edmonson County, KY, under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros Cecil Williams and Harvey Davis will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
