Obituary
Darlene Kolter, age 55, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 28, 2017) at her home.
She was born on August 21, 1961 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Eugene Clay Leach Sr. and Catherine Mae Porter Leach Clayborn.
She worked in various banks in Jefferson County, and enjoyed traveling, water skiing, and boating. Darlene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Kolter of Falls Of Rough; son, Chad Kolter of Louisville; sister, Martine Leach, and brother, Eugene Clay Leach, Jr. both of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (July 1, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Father Tony Bickett will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
