Obituary
Darrell Wayne "Big D" Decker, age 53, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 29, 2010) at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He was born on January 5, 1957, in Clarkson, KY, the son of Woodford and Jeanette Mattingly Decker.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Lynn Hardin (Ronald), his grandchildren, Ryan Wayne Garrett and Macie Joelle Hardin all of Leitchfield, his mother, Jeanette Mattingly Decker of Clarkson, three sisters, Joanne Frank (Tom) of Caneyville, KY, Karen Mattingly (Henry) of Clarkson, and Deborah Smith (Kenny) of Conoloway, two brothers, Lloyd Neal (Donna) of Conoloway and Ricky Decker of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Marie Decker and his father, Woodford Decker.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (October 2, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jimmy Dockery will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donation to the Dermitt Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
