Obituary
David Henry Bratton, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 9, 2013) at Springview Health and Rehab Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on June 25, 1931 in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Cline Bratton.
He was a Veteran and a Retired Fire Chief, and attended Potter's Hope Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Lorene Bratton, a son; Edwin Bratton (Debra) of Pensacola, FL, a step-son; Steven Carroll of Leitchfield, three grandchildren; Clifton David Bratton, Nathan Ryan Bratton, Jillian Page Bratton, one special step-grandson Emmett William Carroll and one brother; Isaac Bratton (Patsy) of New York.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (November 11, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Wayne Clemons and Darrell Snyder will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
