David Albert Carnahan, age 54, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 30, 2026) in Leitchfield.

He was born on January 20, 1972 in Frankfort, KY, the son of the late Bob and Carolyn Sue Baker Carnahan.

He was a biomedical technician who enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his son, Zackery Carnahan (Cassidy); and five siblings, Mike Carnahan, Melissa Carnahan, Marilyn Hart (Eddie), Wayne Ashby (Norie) and Anna Ashby. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sherry Carnahan, and a nephew, Seth Carnahan.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (August 07, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
