David Wayne Clements, age 59, of Shrewsbury, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (October 2, 2021) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on October 25, 1961 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Howard and Alene Albro Clements, and was the youngest of 9 children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Ann Jewell Clements; his three children, Tonya Clements Oller, Amanda Clements Huff (Jason) and his son Jonathan Pruitt; nine grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his five sisters, Agnes Day (Delmer), Alta Woosley (K.O.), Judy Clark (Charlie), Rosie Whobrey (Harold) and Wanda Beatty (Mike); and two sisters-in-law, Susan and Ora Clements. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherman, Don and Phillip Clements; one sister-in-law, Linda Clements; and one special aunt, Irene Albro.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (October 8, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Shrewsbury Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Thursday (October 7, 2021) from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
